Curated Indoor Plants — Designed to Pair Beautifully with H Potter
Curly Lipstick Plant (Aeschynanthus radicans) is a trailing, hanging houseplant loved for its playful blooms—tiny “lipstick tube” flowers that appear along the stems. It’s a natural fit for bright windows and bright kitchens, where the vines can cascade and the blooms can be enjoyed up close.
Place near a bright window where it receives plenty of indirect light. A bright kitchen window is often perfect. Avoid harsh direct sun that can stress foliage.
Let the top portion of soil dry slightly, then water thoroughly and allow excess to drain. Avoid keeping the pot constantly wet.
Average home humidity is typically fine. If your air is very dry, grouping plants or using a humidifier can help support flowering.
Live plants can look a little travel-worn after shipping. A quick reset helps them acclimate and settle in fast.
| When | What to Do | Why It Helps |
|---|---|---|
| Immediately | Unbox promptly. Gently free any vines from packing materials. | Prevents breakage and lets the plant breathe. |
| First 2–6 hours | Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun day one. | Reduces stress while it acclimates. |
| First 24 hours | Check soil moisture before watering. | Avoids overwatering right after transit. |
| Within 48 hours | Water only if the top soil feels dry. Let it drain fully. | Supports recovery without waterlogging roots. |
We’re building a curated plant collection intended to pair beautifully with H Potter vessels—especially statement planters and our iconic terrarium designs. Curly Lipstick Plant looks stunning when displayed high so the vines can cascade in a clean, finished silhouette.
Live plants are packed with care and ship on a schedule designed to protect plant health in transit. Here’s what our packing process looks like—from soil protection to final presentation—so your plant arrives clean, stable, and ready to enjoy.
We use wood fiber to cover our soil to help prevent soil spillage.
The wood fiber is placed over the soil, right under the foliage.
We then use a plastic bag to cover the planter and wood fiber portion of the plant.
Next we secure it tightly with a zip-tie.
We place the houseplant in a paper bag and secure it with a rubber band.
The paper bag provides a clean presentation and added protection.
Bring home a trailing plant with personality.
Place Curly Lipstick Plant in bright, indirect light and let the vines cascade—an easy way to add movement, texture, and blooms to your space.

It’s named for its blooms, which resemble tiny tubes of lipstick emerging along the stems.
Bright, indirect light is best. A bright window or bright kitchen often provides the conditions it loves.
Let the top portion of soil dry slightly between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain.
Yes—consistent bright, indirect light and a steady watering rhythm help encourage blooms. Timing varies by home and season.
Live plants vary naturally. Vine length, leaf shape, and bloom timing can differ—each plant is unique.
If you have pets or small children, we recommend placing plants out of reach. For pet-specific guidance, consult a veterinary resource for your household.
